I’ve just submitted my first patch to the WordPress project. All I can say is… wow, this feels great. The patch wasn’t very big (and as Ryan would say… it was a long time coming), but this feels great.

I have so much to learn, but I’m sure that the kind folks in #wordpress-dev will fix that up quite nicely. Everyone in the channel is extremely helpful. It feels great to finally figure out how to contribute more.
